The mood is sinking. There is resistance. No progress is being made. Strong emotions are becoming apparent. You become nervous and uncertain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What can you do when things get stuck in the process? When the mood turns sour and tempers flare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have gathered a few ideas and experiences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Clearing the air \u2013 hold a discussion in which everyone has the opportunity to say how they are feeling when you sense that the mood is changing.<\/li>\n<li>Suggest an exercise to refocus attention on the meeting.<\/li>\n<li>If it is a person who is particularly in need, ensure that they receive support.<\/li>\n<li>Take a break.<\/li>\n<li>Ask what is needed.<\/li>\n<li>Name the feelings in the room.<\/li>\n<li>Remind each other of what is going well.<\/li>\n<li>Refocus on the topic.<\/li>\n<li>Remember that you are always a role model.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange containers\/places\/times where difficulties can be discussed.<\/li>\n<li>Use methods\/exercises with which you are very familiar.<\/li>\n<li>Trust the process and the system.<\/li>\n<li>Provide a (new) framework, offer alternative interpretations of the situation.<\/li>\n<li>Practice what you preach \u2013 do what you say.<\/li>\n<li>Write down what is troubling you on a small piece of paper and put it in your pocket.<\/li>\n<li>Offer topic storage.<\/li>\n<li>Describe what someone does, rather than how it is done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preventative:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Do not moderate alone.<\/li>\n<li>Make clear arrangements beforehand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What else can you think of?<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":249160,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[565,359,351],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-248995","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-organisationsentwicklung","category-konflikt","category-fuehrung-b"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Facilitating Rough Waters - SOCIUS Organisationsberatung gGmbH<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Der SOCIUS brief ist unser Newsletter.
