\"Wenn im Dialog alle Beteiligten voneinander verstehen, wie es zu dem aktuellen Zustand kam, dann wird die gewollte Ent-wicklung auch gemeinschaftlich und erfolgreich.\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Technical<\/b><\/h3>\n

Vor \u00fcber zwanzig Jahren war mein Plan, mit der Gr\u00fcndung der SOCIUS Organisationsberatung gGmbH vornehmlich gemeinn\u00fctzige Organisationen beraterisch zu unterst\u00fctzen. Genau das tue ich seither - immer noch mit Begeisterung. Aber offensichtlich ist es ein nat\u00fcrlicher Gang der Entwicklung, dass diese Organisationen \u00fcber die Zeit immer gr\u00f6\u00dfer geworden sind. Zuletzt waren es meist Verb\u00e4nde (BUND, Parit\u00e4tischer, Caritas, DRK) und ihre Untergliederungen. Aktuell begleite ich eine K\u00f6rperschaft des \u00f6ffentlichen Rechtes in einem mehrj\u00e4hrigen Prozess des rasanten Wachstums in der Polarit\u00e4t zwischen digitaler Innovation und beh\u00f6rden\u00e4hnlicher Sicherheit. Mich leiten in diesen Prozessen nicht wirklich Theorien oder spezielle Methoden. Da mache ich mir nach den langen Jahren und den vielen Prozessen keine gro\u00dfen Sorgen mehr. Im Gegenteil macht es mir immer noch Freude in jedem Prozess im Vorgehen wieder etwas Individuelles und meist Unkonventionelles zu komponieren. Eine Pr\u00e4misse ist aber doch konstant: <\/span>Everything essential is personal.<\/span><\/i> Daher hat aus meiner Sicht jegliches Unterfangen seinen Beginn in unserem Kontakt untereinander. Oder wie es der Vater des \"Prinzips Hoffnung\", Ernst Bloch, schon 1923 griffig formuliert hat:<\/span> I am. We are. That is enough. Now we must begin.*<\/b><\/p>\n

Background<\/b><\/h3>\n

My professional activities are based on my extensive intercultural East-West experiences in the 1960s and 1970s \u2013 I was born in the wonderfully socialist corner of Upper Silesia (CSSR) and later grew up in Baden, which I found somewhat unusually friendly. On the other hand, I am also shaped by the experience that change is possible in groups: whether as a youth group leader or student representative, later in community service or in the peace service with Action Reconciliation in Poland. My studies in history and Slavic studies (as a scholarship holder of the Protestant Study Centre Villigst) were also marked by the search for causes and remedies for differences between groups. This has remained the case to this day: I am still motivated by the social visions of balanced justice and a caring community. In this respect, I feel particularly committed to the idea of the common good and enjoy working with people who want to live out their privilege as a responsibility in the world of work.<\/span><\/p>\n

commitments<\/b><\/h3>\n

In 1992 gr\u00fcndete ich den Verein \"<\/span>German-Russian Exchange Association<\/span><\/a>.\", dessen Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer ich bis 1997 (und ehrenamtlicher Vorstandsvorsitzender bis 2009) war. In 1998 erhielten wir die Theodor Heuss Medaille f\u00fcr unser zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement. \u00c4hnlich wie die aktuelle SPD Vorsitzende war ich mehrere Jahre Vorsitzender einer schulischen Gesamtelternvertretung und ebenfalls mehrere Jahre im Stiftungsrat der<\/span> Cooperation Foundation<\/span><\/a>, most recently as chairman. In 1998, I founded SOCIUS Organisationsberatung gGmbH (together with Jo T\u00f6pfer) and was managing director and majority shareholder until 2013. Currently, together with my six colleagues, I am on the board of the SOCIUS cooperative we founded, in which we formally implement the equal and collegial management of SOCIUS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personally<\/b><\/h3>\n

Ich bin in zweiter Partnerschaft lebend, Vater zweier erwachsener T\u00f6chter und versuche mich daran zu gew\u00f6hnen, wenn meine Enkel mich mit \"Opa\" ansprechen. Meine Frau betreibt als Heilpraktikerin f\u00fcr Psychotherapie eine eigene<\/span> Practice for Gestalt and constellation work<\/span><\/a> und wir leben in Berlin Charlottenburg - mit Hund, Katze und einer Schar H\u00fchner im Garten. Nicht ganz zuf\u00e4llig werden f\u00fcr mich mit zunehmenden Alter (Jahrgang 1960) die \"Sinnsuche\" oder auch die ethisch-moralischen Aspekte meiner Arbeit wichtiger. Hin und wieder g\u00f6nne ich mir Reflektionszeiten, gerne als mehrmonatige Wanderung mit Hund, Zelt und Kocher aber ohne Smartphone.
