Katja Münker

Trained as a physiotherapist and Feldenkrais teacher, studied contemporary dance, (contact) improvisation and instant composition.

Curation and management of somatic training and further education courses at the Somatic Academy Berlin. Solo and collaborative performance projects, performative walks, somatic and artistic research, conference contributions, curations and publications on the topics of
– Networking of choreographic and somatic practices
– Walking & Performativity
– Participation, perception & environmental awareness
– Embodied understanding, meaning-making & capacity for action

Conscious and lively learning, the connection between individual freedom and collective connectedness with the environment, as well as joy and ease in movement are at the heart of my teaching. Teaching is a living part of my ongoing research into movement and development and my artistic work. This is characterised by the search for a sensitive and reflective understanding of our shared human potential, as well as the search for ways to constructively and socially develop our individual potential.

Workshop: Body-Net-Works – The Tensegrity Principle

The tensegrity principle as a living model for the organic distribution and communication of force and forces

The connective tissue, in conjunction with the skeleton, forms the physiological basis in the body for a stress-resistant system that can self-tension in gravity.

In accordance with the tensegrity principle, this creates a three-dimensional adaptability to forces that allows our body to become one in its variety of forms while simultaneously anchoring it in the world in a mobile manner.

In this practical workshop, I use body awareness experiments from the Feldenkrais Method, experiential anatomy and improvisation to experience these effects on your own body and apply the potential to interpersonal relationships, our interconnectedness in the world and to fields of work.

Vitaly Bytschkow

Vitaly has already walked 5,300 kilometres across Europe. He shares his adventures as a speaker, among other things. at TEDx, to people for inspiration. This resulted in a collaboration with Kamil Barbarski the idea of passing on this inspiration to organisations and teams, resulting in Walkaboutyou came into being.

With Walkaboutyou, Witali offers outdoor workshops for teams and organisational processes, guiding them in using nature as a source of inspiration and strength.

He uses tools and techniques from Theory U, Search Inside Yourself, design thinking, nature coaching and many other methods, transferring them to the natural world.

He is also an entrepreneur and founder of Rausgegangen, one of the largest platforms for regional artists and events in Germany.

Workshop: Nature as a teacher

Nature as a teacher for regenerative and sustainable organisations

In this two-part workshop consisting of a work- & walk-shop, we will look at nature as a teacher for regenerative and sustainable organisations.

The oldest tree in the world discovered to date is approximately 10,000 years old, while the average tree in Germany is approximately 77 years old.

How is it that the difference is so enormous? How do we as humans intervene in our ecosystem and what impact do our actions have? Why do we want to become “active” when sometimes „being still“ would be the right answer?.

Vitaly takes you on a journey through nature, through perception, feeling, being still, and how this process can inspire us and our organisations.

Part I consists of an impulse and the opportunity to take on different perspectives and immerse oneself in small groups.

Part II is an outdoor section, the Walkshop, where we will be moving around outside the grounds, moderated by Witali.

Julia Hinkel

My goal is to encourage people and companies to engage with regenerativity so that they can create powerful, sustainable organisations and a world worth living in tomorrow. I am convinced that we need this regenerative power in organisations to enable fundamental change.

For me, a core element of regenerativity is the (re)discovery of vitality and the application of principles of life. In my work, I have come to know the power of nourishing relationships and genuine contact. The need for this is inherent in all of us. We can use it to create regenerative, economically successful and resilient companies.

In doing so, I draw on my life experiences, my exploration of the essentials, and 15 years of professional experience in supporting organisations, teams, and individuals in their change processes, particularly in the implementation of agile methods, self-learning processes, and joyful collaboration.

Workshop: Leadership in nature

„Nature is the most successful enterprise ever established.“

Frederic Vester

Over billions of years, the Earth has created conditions that enable life to constantly renew itself, blossom into new forms and thrive under changing living conditions; to be regenerative in the best sense of the word.

But what does this mean for leadership? Is there leadership in nature?

If so, what does it look like? And how can we imagine leadership that is guided by the principles of living things?

I provide inspiration and create a space in which we can explore these exciting questions together and co-create regenerative leadership principles.

Emma Marx

I'm Emma Marx. I work at New narratives - As a print magazine and digital publisher, we empower people to create a better economy for everyone. When I'm not writing articles for the magazine, I'm turning Neue Narrative into a regenerative organisation. In doing so, I always move between internal implementation and external communication. In my work and my texts, I do not want to heroise companies as saviours, but nevertheless highlight their potential to bring about positive change.

Previously, I worked in human geography research and transformation studies studies: I am driven by the question of how we can bring about intertwined social and ecological change in society.

Workshop: Good renewable energy report

Almost no one enjoys writing sustainability reports, and even fewer people enjoy reading them. Yet these texts ideally provide clear and concise information about the organisation's actual stance on regenerativity, the measures that have been implemented, and what is planned – without any greenwashing.

Every organisation should be involved in making its own business model regenerative and communicating this. Finding the right balance in reports is not that easy. We, at least, had many questions: What exactly is regenerative? How can a company approach this goal? Why is a regenerative report necessary? How do you communicate it? And above all: What is the core of the report? What is important? Where does it become illegible? And who are we actually addressing?

We would like to explore with you in an interactive, dynamic workshop what regenerative business means and how a regenerative report can contribute to it.

In a staged reading, we share insights and questions from Neue Narrative's first regenerative report. Then we move on to what you want to report: we approach your report not through writing, but through improvisation, movement, props and staged exercises, thus finding new ways to talk about regenerativity.

Karen (Dr Karen Oltersdorf,  Dark Horse) is a systemic organisational consultant and coach. While studying psychology, she developed a particular interest in (and spent many years researching) how our environment affects us as human beings, and which feelings and behaviours are promoted not only by our social environment, but also by our physical surroundings.

=

Workshop: Exploring regenerative spaces

We want to explore with you how you can design your workspaces to keep you alert and inspired. We bring inspiration from our architectural/psychological work and our „office construction kit“ – you bring your own experience and your sense of what makes a good space!

We invite you to join us in gathering what „regenerative qualities“ mean to you, where and when you find them. Which activities (and states of mind) require which (spatial) qualities? And which of these can be transferred to digital spaces and hybrid settings? After self-reflection and exchange, you can use our office construction kit to explore how you can redesign your office and how you can create more regenerative spaces.

Workshop: Regenerative Cultures – An Introduction with Exercises

In this workshop, we will deal with the basic understanding of
regenerative cultures and would like to gain both an overview and insight
Add the following:

How do we understand regenerative culture(s)? At what levels can we
consider them? What does that mean for me personally and for my
Organisation?

In addition, we will address the following questions in short exercises: How can
we the effects of the toxic (i.e. non-regenerative) system in
recognise ourselves, share our feelings and thoughts about this with others, in order to
to enable a process of transformation – within ourselves, within our
Communities and global?

Sound bath West Africa

Paraya Diallo plays his music for people and, above all, with them. It is easy to get into the groove of his music and – if you like – you can sing along. The songs are characterised by deep spirituality, love for people and confidence in life. His music is intensely melodious, lively and cheerful at the same time. His music carries you away. Paraya plays for us together with Moussa Coulibaly (balafon) and Thomas Osei (calabash).

The concert on OE Day will be his first concert in Berlin, where he has been living since April 2023. Paraya was born in Guinea-Conakry, West Africa. He grew up with his beloved grandmother, who taught him to live in harmony with nature and to always treat all living beings with respect. He followed his passion for music from an early age and studied with various teachers, including guitarist and composer Alpha Yaya Diallo. Paraya Diallo played in various bands and began his own projects as a soloist in 2019. His first recordings were made at JJ Music Studio in Conakry. His first single was released in May this year and we can look forward to his first album (to be released in autumn 23). Paraya Diallo composes and writes his own songs during the pandemic. They are written in French, his native language Peulh and other languages of Guinea.

Workshop: The Regenerative Use of Power

Nourishing resilient cultures

(workshop in English)

In our „Power“ workshop, we would like to show you why it is important to know, own and use your power well. When we are not identified with it, we create chaos in our professional and personal lives in various ways, which negatively impacts the people around us and ourselves. We advocate working on your own clarity, resilience, and relationship to power, so that you can create a nurturing ground and safe framework for your team, where everyone can contribute, be creative and develop. We will present exercises on how to get more in touch with and nourish your inner and outer powers.

Kawira and Tanja share a passion for encouraging people to acknowledge their own power and to use it responsibly. They also love exploring power dynamics with each other, especially given their different cultural backgrounds and experiences.

We will speak English in the workshop and provide sufficient opportunity for translation assistance. A basic knowledge of English is sufficient to participate.“
The workshop is in English, but we will also provide room for translation assistance, so anyone with basic English skills is sure to be well included.

Workshop: Silence as a Regenerative Practice

How and why is the experience of silence restorative and regenerating? How can we practise cultivating more stillness and silence in our daily lives? What do physical movement and nature have to do with our experience of silence?

We often think of silence as the absence of noise and something that can be practised primarily by sitting still. Yet the experience of silence is as individual as we are and can come in many different shapes and sizes, depending on our individual preferences and circumstances at any given time.

In this two-hour workshop, we will explore the experience of silence from a variety of perspectives – including our physical senses, various forms of movement, and attunement with nature. Our goal is to rediscover what we each individually would like to practise and how we can integrate it into our daily lives in small and simple ways to create a regenerative and positive flow between ourselves, others, and the natural world around us.

Kerstin Gollembiewski

After 15 years working in peace and human rights, I took the plunge last year and started my own business. My aim is to support social change and transformation processes not only in distant lands, but also in my home society. And above all, I want to do this using narrative methods.

My focus is increasingly on encouraging people and enabling them to develop narratives for the future that allow them to set out on their journey and play a concrete role in shaping these visions of the future.

In groups, it is usually essential to first understand the common starting point – and to hear and see all those involved. I also find working with stories to be a great enrichment in this regard.

Story circle: Stories for rediscovery and new beginnings

The new is always already present in the old.

A new term has emerged... and is increasingly on everyone's lips. Renewable. When it comes to development, the major changes that seem necessary to preserve the Earth and thus also ourselves, and our coexistence, whether in our private or professional lives.

But what does this term mean? In concrete terms. For you. In your everyday life. And also: how does it feel?

To explore these questions, I would like to invite you to join a storytelling circle. We will search for stories that tell of regeneration. In doing so, we will (also) look for the quiet, perhaps still hidden or tentative aspects of our lives – and our relationship to these stories, which is deeply personal.

Workshop: Feminist leadership needs structure and stories

Just because we know how things should no longer be, that doesn't mean we know how to achieve change. Feminist leadership aims for nothing less than the redesign of the world of work with the goal of socio-ecological transformation. For everyone. But how do we find our way when the goal is vague? When do we move forward courageously, listen confidently and connect with one another? In the darkness, we put one foot in front of the other and explore the path. And sometimes we ask the question again: why is this feminist now?

In this workshop, we will examine structures that continuously enable feminist leadership in organisations. We will discuss stepping stones such as cooperatives, quotas, and the menstrual cycle at work.

We will also explore how theories and stories sharpen our sense of direction and stimulate our imagination. We will look at work fairy tales (4-in-1 model, Frigga Haug), the power of doubt (Source, Tom Nixon), and humanity's first tool: the bag (carrier bag theory, Ursula K. Le Guin).

Workshop: Regenerative organisations – exchange of experiences and space for reflection

What defines a regenerative organisation? What structures are needed? What does it mean to work cyclically, lead collectively and trust in emergence? And what does this have to do with ecosystems, nature and our own joy of learning?

In this workshop, Lino from Reinventing Society and Simone Bromma from Wecreation would like to share experiences, good practices and insights from their respective organisations and invite participants to engage in a joint exchange on regenerative organisational structures and cultures. The aim is to create an emergent, lively and co-creative format that inspires and encourages participants to boldly break new ground.

Workshop: Emergent Strategy

We – Christa Cocciole and Britta Loschke – have long been preoccupied with the contradiction between self-care and caring for or responsibility for others and the community.

What if this contradiction is only apparent? What if being more mindful does not contradict caring for others and the whole? What if caring for oneself meant connecting with others? What if, in addition to our legitimate  Enthusiasm for things alone creates the experience of interdependence or vulnerability?

In this workshop, we will take a more somatic-cognitive approach to the question of what „emergent strategy“ means.“  According to Adrienne Maree Brown, this can contribute to a regenerative culture... and what would be possible if connection, trust and the conviction of being part of a whole were to become part of the value system of organisations.
