The chronically ill and the organisation
A (potential) love story
The chronically ill and the organisation
The organisation had so much to do that it no longer knew which way was up. And then there was the chronically ill person who simply couldn't stay quietly in their corner, but wanted to be effective at all costs. But as challenging as the encounters sometimes were, the organisation transformed itself a little more each time into a home for fantastic people.
Many people with - often invisible - chronic illnesses work in our organisations. This short story provides an initial insight into the issues that determine exclusion and inclusion. It shows that organisations benefit from close cooperation: Where people affected by illness are involved, healthy working is created for everyone.
